SUPPORT UKRAINE NOW

The People of Ukraine urgently need your help

 

New Forest for Ukraine is a group of like-minded volunteers living in the New Forest. We are united by our determination to help the millions of people displaced by the war in Ukraine, and our belief that together we can make a difference. 

​

We focus on collecting and delivering the latest required aid directly to Ukrainian refugees and those still in Ukraine, and we do so quickly and efficiently.

 

As of April 2024, we have sent over 275 metric tonnes. Now we are shipping by truck, we turn each £1 of cash donated into £100 worth of delivered aid. We also do what we can to ensure door-to-door traceability to ensure your donations get to the people who need them most, including individuals and families sheltering on the front line.

 

We urgently need both physical and financial donations to keep our operations going. Please help in any way that you can. All of our team are volunteers, and are doing what we can to support, collect, sort and transport aid.

 

We welcome the opportunity to partner with like-minded groups to support the people of Ukraine.

 

We are a registered Community Interest Group.

Latest Requirements

Unfortunately the need is greater than ever. In addition to the normal goods, these are urgently needed:​

​

  • Food

  • Toiletries

  • Medical supplies such as painkillers, lotions, first aid, dressings (no PPE please)

  • LED Torches and batteries

  • Powerbanks

  • Candles

  • Generators

  • Sleeping Bags

  • Warm winter clothing and shoes (women and children most urgent)

  • Heavy Duty Boots and socks

  • Hot water bottles < 2 years old (see bottle neck)

  • Camping Stoves (no gas canisters please)​

  • Clean Duvets, Pillows and Blankets

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

New Forest for Ukraine are currently looking for more volunteers. Whether sorting at our main collection hub, loading vans, collecting donations from our centres around the New Forest, distributing information or helping to run our events and social media - we need you!

 

You can do as much or as little as you like, meet our great team of volunteers, drink coffee and chat and help keep our humanitarian aid going to where it is needed most.
